Aikido Academy
The Aikido Academy is a separate course inside of the Aikido Hombu Dojo, and the only Aikido school recognized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Students acquire the skills and theory of Aikido through the three course levels of Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Students who complete the predetermined course requirements will be awarded a certificate of completion, and are able to take Kyu or Dan grading in the course. The courses are held twice per year, one session beginning in April, and the next session beginning in October.

- If more people apply than there is space, a screening will be held.
The results will be sent by post mail. - Details about applying are available in February and August
- Yudansha may not join the beginner classes.
- Students on track to complete the course may participate in the examinations according
to the requirements set out in the Grading Syllabus .
